Claudia Donaldson-Selby, the author, writes from her own Swaziland boarding school experience.
This is Claudia’s story. She was the little girl in this Boarding School in Swaziland. It is set in 1954 – a year after the Queen’s Coronation and the year the first Swazi prince is born to the King and the main Queen of Swaziland. Although it is a memoir most of it has been written in first person as if it is a film of Julie showing what she is going through.
As a special education teacher, she has taught children and adults with reading problems for over thirty years, and has written four successful non-fiction books in this field. Claudia has travelled throughout Africa, Europe and the U.S., and writes from her home base in Hawaii. Hear Claudia talking to who is Julie and who is Seth?
